The client’s brief called for the redevelopment and conversion of an existing office building into a specialised elderly care facility for dementia (C2 Use Class). The majority of the building’s original structure and envelope were retained.

The interior has been transformed into functional, engaging spaces that cater to the needs of the residents. They provide a multi-sensory experience. The design prioritises adaptability, accessibility, and safety, creating a barrier-free environment that maximises exposure to natural light.

Working within the limitations of the existing site, Marchese Partners | Life3A have successfully created a secure, dignified living space where residents can thrive, fostering social interaction and providing peace of mind.
