Marchese Partners | Life3A have designed “Valentia”, a distinctive residential development on Victoria Road, Gladesville, in Sydney. Featuring 55 apartments, the design draws inspiration from the heritage sandstone buildings that line this section of Victoria Road. The design incorporates a contemporary sandstone base and an elegant entry portal. Above the sandstone base, a folded bronze-framed glazed façade rises, incorporating wintergarden balconies for the apartments facing Victoria Road, enhancing the living experience with superior amenities.
The interior design features two distinctive palettes, drawing on the crisp linear approach to the architecture and the context on Victoria Road. Dark rich timbers sit against silky grey joinery finishes, a deep aggregated tile to the bathrooms with dark contrasting fixtures creates a semi-industrial approach to the interiors that draws on the areas past.
