This proposed TOD residential development at Burgoyne St, Gordon, consists of two residential flat buildings. Both are connected by a lower ground level communal facility, including a wellness centre, an indoor swimming pool and gym, a cinema, co-working rooms/library, a games room and a golf simulator.
The proposal includes 106 apartments, with the larger types and floorplans specifically targeting the luxury downsizer market. The design reinforces Gordon’s residential character. It responds to the rhythm of surrounding buildings. The facades and overall structure are broken into distinct elements of varying heights. These elements gradually step down toward the front boundary.
The elevations are carefully articulated with a variety of materials and finishes and complemented with a landscape design that enhances the natural setting and improves local biodiversity by providing habitat for local birds and wildlife.
