In 2010, Marchese Partners | Life 3A developed a new masterplan for Uniting’s Mayflower Village re-development in Westmead, Sydney. The aim was to create a hub that connects the growing elderly population with the greater local community.
The final scheme incorporates 114 aged care beds, 230 ILA’s, on site communal facilities and childcare centre and was centred around a large village green with a publicly accessible village square.
Stage 1, completed in 2020, includes aged care suites, the main reception and administration offices, residents’ communal facilities, café, chapel and wellness centre.
Stage 2 of the development started construction late 2024.
