Glengara retirement community is an exciting new addition for RetireAustralia’s portfolio. The community consists of 70 assisted living apartments and associated amenity and public spaces contributing to the existing retirement community.
We have delivered on a personal centred living design philosophy based on our experience and research. Community interaction is encouraged and the residents can decide how much community interaction they want to partake in with the flexible design of the buildings. We have encapsulated our ageing better design principles to provide, safe, secure, legible and homely environments, for the residents to age in place.
This project is featured as an exemplary case study in the World Alzheimer’s Report 2020.
